Meet Chef Tamu - The Heart Behind the Flavor
With an extensive background in the culinary world, Chef Tamu has been perfecting her craft for over 27 years. Her journey began at Sista’s Food for the Soul, where she first honed her skills in authentic Southern cooking. She then took her talents to Empress Casino (later Hollywood Casino), where she started as a pastry baker before advancing into the VIP Lounge, serving exquisite, high-end meals to distinguished guests.
The undeniable demand for Chef Tamu’s cooking pushed her to take a leap of faith in 2016, launching her own catering business. From soul food to Italian, Mexican, and even Chinese cuisine, she infused every dish with her signature touch of soul, creating bold, flavorful twists on classic dishes that left customers craving more.
In June 2024, after years of perfecting her craft and catering to a diverse clientele, All That And A Touch Of Soul was born—where she now serves Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, along with an expanded catering menu for all occasions.
